Where should you be consistent?
So now that you know what consistency means, let’s identify areas where you can be consistent:
- Elements
- Design

- Interaction
- Consistency means “logical coherence and accordance”.
- Elements, design, content and interaction should be consistent to create a great user experience.
- When your users feel comfortable with your site, they’ll return consistently as well.
Although its a great start, this list is far from comprehensive. Feel free to improvise. Many elements of a website’s design depends on its overall interaction goals, and everyone’s different. In other words, there’s are no rules. (http://www.uxbooth.com/articles/consistency-key-to-a-better-user-experience/)

This pictures are 2 other examples which show consistency on them. colors, form, pictures and some other information put beside each other very well and they are not messy. it will cause that readers become friendly with them.
Why should you be consistent?
Users should feel comfortable when they visit your site. They should feel that your site is designed, arranged, and filled with logical information that they know how to get to. When you are consistent, you make your users happy which will compel them to return.(http://www.uxbooth.com/articles/consistency-key-to-a-better-user-experience/)
Inconsistency is the opposite of consistency. When it comes to design, knowing consistency and inconsistency become very important because this is very important in our design such as our websites, our portfolio and so on.

All these three pictures show inconsistency on websites. There is now harmony between fonts, colors, images and even information which wrote inside of that. in addition too much information on a webpage cause to become too much messy. If we don't choose good and suitable font for our websites, readers are not able to read them and most of them will leave that website.
Lots of differences on fonts and typefaces. Fonts means shape of letters such as italic, bold, underline and typeface means the style of letters and words such as Arial.
In my opinion, designers respect to readers when they design nice website with high quality. readers can appreciate how much time the spent to create that websites. in addition, they can encourage more to comeback on that website again.
