Questionnaire for advertisement


One of the options about primary research is questionnaire which can help you to do your job well. In one hand, this is necessary to understand what is your best way for you to design your advertise which is related to your manager or teacher, In the other hand, this is essential to know what is your customer ideas and goals. I made two kinds of questionnaires and asked my teacher to answered them. One of them is about how I can design good advertisement related to my major which is architecture and the second one is what my customer think.

My targets may be students for a workshop, some customers who need a company to build a new house for them and some other customer who want to rebuild their house. In this case, I don't have any limitation for age. I will choose to rebuild a building that could be rebuilding houses, universities or schools, shopping mall and so on.

First of all, I will make some questionnaire to ask my teacher because she has more experience and can help me to know what is important to create an eye-catching advertisement.

Next, I will make a questionnaire for asking customers to know what they like, what they need and what they expect. These questions will definitely help organise because a good advertisement is what people need.

1.Questionnaire about how i can design good advertisement:

1. Which software can help me to make a good advertisement?
A: You can use any software that you feel comfortable using, it can be online software orprofessional software. (pixlr, picmonkey, canva) or (Photoshop / illustrator) 

2. What is the most important to show in advertisement to audience? (For example Logo of company? Products? Notes?) 
A: In my opinion a strong image is vital to create impact, as a picture is worth a thousand words.

3. What kinds of pictures are useful in this case? (For example, reality picture? Digitally picture?) 
A: You can use any kind of image for this, a photograph / sketch / digital drawing, please do not use Google images; all images must be your own.

4. What kind of advertisement have more viewer? (Media, Billboards, Journals)
A: you can try to research the answer to that independently, look at the current adverts that are promoting software and where they are placed (on which media channels).

5. What is the most important point that I should be careful about that?
A: Research (research findings) for design will influence your design decisions, but you must consider how text, logo and image work together for the advert project.

2.Questionnaire about what my customer think:

1. What is the most important thing for you to show people? (Logo, Offers) 
A: image, logo, offer to attract people.

2. Do you have any offer for people who may be your customer? 
A: Voucher for recommendation, discount

3. What kind of advertise do you prefer? (Journal, Billboard, media) 
A: depend on the client 

4. What is your key message to tell people? 
A: Quality

5. What are the best features of you or your company that can help or solve something? 
A: Time management, guarantee

6. What does audience think or feel about you at present? 
A: They may feel slightly suspicious, especially the (over 55 year old).

7. Who are you talking to? 
A: House owners, landlords, companies, developers, councils.

8. What is your key benefit for your customer?  
A: Affordability, (monthly installments option available), quality, convenience, time management.

When we had received answers, we can analyse them to appreciate better. If we find some difficulties, we should start secondary research such as reading book and journals.
